Astons Bugis Plus

One of the things that showed on my health screen was that I have low red blood cells along with low blood pressure and some kind of mild infection.

We don’t really know what to do for the low blood pressure as my sodium levels are at the higher end of fine so I can’t just add a heap of salt to things.

Randomly we decided I ought to have some steak and we remembered a place over in Buigs Plus, which is a chain so there are a number of stores around the island. Astons.

Under the pressure of ordering before being seated I chose the pork ribs. Who can go past some tasty BBQ pork ribs? Only to be told by Triston upon being seated that a chicken leg/thigh probably has the same amount of iron and I really should have gotten the steak.

Oh well, too late now.

Triston did get the steak and we shared.

Both dishes were pretty tasty and fairly well priced compared to similar sized dishes in Bugis Food Junction or comparing against Sydney.

As we were leaving there was a huge line. We had no line, nothing, no other people about. A few people were seated and as we sat we realised they were waiting for food as well but on exit there was about 30 people in line. I guess when you eat at a slightly odd hour you manage to avoid queues.
