Valentine’s day lunch Sydney

So this Valentines’s day we were going to be apart but then Triston booked his flight to help me organise stuff in Sydney. Before he arrived but after he booked his ticket we found out a lot of the things I needed help with no longer needed to be done. Handy and not.

We had the Park Hyatt Sydney booked for Thursday and Friday nights but the annoying task of selling all the random stuff in our apartment was far too time-consuming for us to be able to proceed. Sadly we cancelled. Although we probably shouldn’t have because we pissed the time away and didn’t achieve a whole lot. I have a whinge about that on my gumtree selling post.

Anyhoo, because we were home and not somewhere fancy and refreshing we didn’t really celebrate. Nice to be together, that is for sure. Instead of glamour and luxury, we had lunch at Jumbo Thai in Pyrmont. It was an old favourite. It costs quite a bit more than we pay in Singapore but it is always exactly as we expect.

I had the Pad Kee Mao (above), which I really enjoyed and Triston had the Singapore noodles (below). Singapore noodles are extremely difficult to find in Singapore so he was pretty happy.
